100WC Week #33 'Dinner Party!' by Natalie

I was hosting a lovely dinner party that I invited my best friends to. There was a super scallop starter, a mouth-watering meat main course and a delicious doughnut dessert. When my friends arrived I offered them an outstanding drink and a place at my terrific table. One of my friends wore her favourite hat and she took it off and put it on the table. When my mum came in with the scrumptious starter she asked me why was the hat on the table? I told her that is was my friends hat and the dinner party carried on.

100WC Week #33 'The Hat' by Tash

Yesterday morning, I woke up to my super annoying alarm clock that goes, BEEP BEEP BEEP! Rather groggily, I stumbled out of bed while trying to find my clothes to get ready for another dreadful day of school. Some people get out of bed wide awake; most people want to get back in again. Frustratingly, I always have to go to that prison-like place so I ambled down the stairs and went into the colourful kitchen. Then I saw it. A strange scarlet hat. Why was that hat on the table?

Maths reasoning paper... with a twist!

6MR and 6MH decided to complete a practice maths reasoning paper on Wednesday... with a twist!

Children had to search for the question around the playground and answer it with their partner.
The engagement from the children was amazing and a bit of fresh air worked wonders!

We thought we'd also turn it into a bit of friendly competition...
Congratulations to Will, Francesca and Fintan (6MH) for the highest score.
Congratulations to 6MR for the highest average score.
