When it's Over by Holly (100WC)

For this week's 100 Word Challenge, the children were asked to write a piece of 100 words in length and include "but should I really do this?". Below is Holly's writing. We think you'll agree it is stunning and sums up life in May 2020.

Well done Holly!

Everyone reading this, please share it with someone else. It'll likely bring a ray of sunshine to their day too.

  1. Superb Holly. So grown up and excellent rhyming too. I especially love 'Dibs the swings...' line. Keep it going and you might be a star poet and author one day. Neal.

  2. Kia ora from New Zealand Holly.
What a wonderful idea to use the prompt in poetry, and this poem is so evocative of the things that everyone world wide is experiencing. I think too that you have focused on the pleasant things in life, like nature and being close to friends and family. A fabulous piece!
If you get a chance, please come on down to my class blog and see what students in my class are doing = we love chatting across blogs.
