Natural art

As part of our art topic this term, Year Six have been completing some observational art on natural objects. There have been all sorts of objects brought in - from crab shells to feathers and dead coral!

Experimenting with a variety of techniques (pencil sketching, watercolour and oil pastels), the pupils chose their preferred medium and created a final piece of art for display. Below are some finished pieces from (top left, clockwise) Annabel, Sophia, Thomas, Livvie, Jenna and Joshua.

6JE took their art to the Year Six corridor, where they used whiteboard pens to sketch their objects.

Most of the art will feature in the pupils' Best Books, so watch this space!
