For today's Year Six writing task, they were asked to write an entry for this week's 100 Word Challenge. Below is the prompt the children were given and Barney's response.
The Last Wave
This was it, the last wave of zombies coming straight towards them. Now it was Thor’s time to shine after everybody else.“They’re coming” he bellowed in his deep war voice.
“Sir, I think we shou-” replied Steve but he was cut off.“It doesn’t matter what you think, does it.”
Now the zombies were less than 50 metres away and were coming like a train hurtling into a station.“Launch the cannons!” demanded Thor.They launched the cannons and took out about 100 of the lifeless but they were still coming straight towards the life full and very quick...
