Year Six/Seven Transition Writing

As part of their preparation for Year Seven, our Year Six children are currently completing some 'transition work'. This allows their secondary school teachers to see what they're capable of. We think you'll agree that Keane and James D's future English teachers will be impressed with this writing...

Stippling Big Art

Recently, 6CC have been learning how to create art using a stippling technique.

First, they created a graduation of stippling on a strip of paper.

Next, Mrs. Cleghorn showed how this technique can be used to create an image.

The children all had an image to copy.

These images were all then put together for form some BIG ART.

It looks great.

And, is now on display in the Year Six corridor...
